It’s no secret that these are tough times for nonprofit organizations across the country. Organizations are trying to do more with less and are experiencing increasing budget uncertainty. In 2025, Lori’s Hands raised less than half of our projected budget. Foundations and other funders attribute the increased competition for grants to federal funding cuts and other broad economic issues. At the same time that our budget got tight, our impact grew to new heights. In 2025, we served more clients, trained more students, facilitated more intergenerational visits, and partnered with more schools and community organizations than ever before. We want to, and feel equipped to, continue this growth in 2026. But we need you, the Lori’s Hands community, more than ever before.
Please support our spring fundraising campaign to help us raise $30,000 before Father’s Day. With less than two weeks to go, we are more than halfway to our goal. Help us close the gap in our budget and get one step closer to long-term sustainability.
Thank you for your support over the years, and thank you especially for showing up for Lori’s Hands and other community organizations during this challenging season.
