Exciting News! Lori's Hands is thrilled to be part of Target Circle, Target's free loyalty program!

When you shop, you earn votes—and your votes can make a difference. By selecting Lori’s Hands in your Target Circle account (based on your store location), you can help us secure a grant at the end of the campaign.

Here’s how it works:
1. Sign up for Target Circle for free at target.com/circle or in the Target app.
2. Shop and earn votes.
3. Cast your votes for Lori's Hands online or in the app.

Every vote helps! The campaign runs through the end of March, and the more votes we receive, the larger the grant we’ll earn. Let’s make this happen together!

We are so excited to share that Baltimore’s @thb

We are so excited to share that Baltimore’s @thb.bagelry.deli is helping to raise funds for us! On National Bagel Day, Wednesday, January 15th, THB will be giving away a Free Bagel and Cream Cheese to everyone who has the myTHB Rewards App. THB will donate 50 cents for every bagel given away to us as well as 6 other Baltimore area nonprofits who do great work in our community. To help fund our programs, (1) first download the myTHB App at least one day prior to January 15 to be eligible. (2) On 1/15, use the myTHB App to place your order, (3) add a free bagel and cream cheese to your order along with a $6 purchase, and (4) select ‘Apply Rewards’ prior to checkout to apply the reward. That's it! One bagel order can help us fund our mission!

We’re thrilled to announce the much-anticipated annual Dinner at Drip returns on February 5 & 6, 2025, at @dripcafede in Hockessin, DE.

Guests will enjoy:
• A carefully curated 4-course dinner paired with hand-selected wines
• A warm and inviting evening with friends, food, and philanthropy
• The opportunity to support Lori’s Hands, a nonprofit dedicated to fostering connections between college students and community members managing chronic illnesses

Tickets are $100 per person, which includes dinner, wine pairings, gratuity, and a donation to Lori’s Hands. Spaces are limited to 40 guests per night, and this event sells out quickly.

Exciting news from our Baltimore Chapter! Last month, Chapter Manager, Maddie, and Executive Director, Zach, attended the 2024 Business Volunteers Maryland GIVE Graduation, celebrating our amazing GIVE Fellows—Beth, Jerome, Jessica, Kendal, and Tonya.

Our team won the Audience Favorite award, and Lori's Hands was awarded a $2,500 donation.

We’re inspired by our fellow's passion and grateful for their contributions to our work in Baltimore! Also, we're grateful for Business Volunteers Maryland and are honored to have been included in their 2024 program.

Students from Western Michigan University’s ENGL

Students from Western Michigan University’s ENGL 4970 - Grant Writing course visited Lori’s Hands at the Ypsilanti Senior Center for an immersive day of learning. They connected with older adults through interviews and a group collage, gaining insights to write grants for our Metro Detroit programming!
