During this time of practicing physical distancing, we need to be more purposeful than ever to maintain social connections. That’s why, every Friday, Lori’s Hands will be sharing with you 7 ways you can stay active and connected, one for each day of the week. Be sure to take a picture of your activity to share with your Lori’s Hands client or volunteer and post it on social media using #LH7Days7Ways. Let’s stay connected.

  1. Put together a delicious snack using only items in your fridge/pantry; photograph it and share the recipe!

  2. Try a crossword, sudoku, or another puzzle online: https://puzzles.usatoday.com/

  3. Clean/organize something you’ve been putting off (don’t forget to share before and after photos!)

  4. Call a friend or family member and interview him/her about a period of his/her life – consider recording it with permission!

  5. Doodle a picture/learn how to doodle – everyday 1 pm: https://www.kennedy-center.org/mowillems?fbclid=IwAR3HTVDC0yjYmMZkCJNvDEjiqx24XTCpWmQZ1QREi0E3CMu5QMdtZvOsYUw

  6. Stretch. Do leg lifts. Try chair yoga.

  7. Write a short story/reflection about a favorite visit with your Lori’s Hands client/students; share it!
